E3 2008: Knights of the Old Republic MMO Confirmed Written Thursday, July 17, 2008 by Jason Debelyak
Quite a few of you probably remember this little rumor we posted a little over a month ago regarding Knights of the Old Republic 3 being in development. As E3 winds down on it's final day, nobody was expecting to see anything regarding this rumor, seeing as both Microsoft and Electronic Arts (who purchased BioWare last year), had already had their press conferences. Well, think again. Gamespot has just uncovered that Electronic Arts CEO, John Riccitiello, has revealed that the secret MMO that BioWare has been working on is indeed a Knights of the Old Republic sequel of sorts. Details are extremely scarce at the moment, but it seems as though the Knights of the Old Republic MMO will launch sometime in 2009. However, we're gonna be pessimistic here and expect a delay or two just so our hopes aren't too extremely high. | |
