Haven't heard anything about this game. There's a lot of RPGs coming out and some I don't have finished so this might get passed up unless I hear good things. Achievements look typical, no originality.

lol yeah i'm pretty interested to see what that 1 point achievement is too. Not really too concerned about the achievements here since it's a Square Enix game. Bound to be good.

This looks like a game where you get these Achievements just by playing through the game, which would be great!

A name like Infinite Discovery... I just expected more achievements, that's all.

From what it say's looks like they're will be more than enough escorting in the missions which is fine psyche....

Looks pretty straight forward. A lot of them are vague though like the money one and the "keep advancing x skills". The toughest one I notice is the collect every item achievement. Hopefully it won't be as frustrating as Lost Odyssey.

I'd like to see more achievements for RPGs as well since there are so many things you can do in them.

RPGs always have roughly the same achievements

master this skill master that skill

reach this level

seeing as this and "the last remnant" are both new franchise's. i expected the list to be same old.(guessing last remnants will be too) i'm just hoping that FF:XII will have some really good achievements.

A Square Enix RPG... dont get much better then that.
Achievements look cool... Obtain all items will be a huge pain in the ass... Im interested as to what the 1point secret achievement will be... hopefully not like bulletwitch *shudders*

This is shaping up to be a good title. Achievements list looks about right too. Let's just hope this game doesn't get lost in the mix because of so many anticipated titles flooding out in the coming months.

That's funny how they named the obtain all items, "Compusive". Thats really what you have to be, I guess. I think I am still scared from lost odyssey though - I never got it after going over the game sooo many times. But at leasts its worth 50g this time around! Don't forget all of the secret ones too, to all those people who think the list looks lame.

im hoping compulsive means every type of item rther then every item. ive spent far too many hours on lost odyssey and not got treasure trove. I hate secret achievements, but i think most of them will be storyline based.

I'm not so concerned with the achievements on this game. I'm more concerned with how good the game itself is. I've been waiting for something from Square Enix, so this, Last Remnant, and Final Fantasy XIII will do quite nicely.

Stupid secret achievements... Don't developers know sites like this exist where you guy freely show us all the achievements secret or not? I mean, I NEVER got a secret achievement and didn't know what it'll be. I have 96K GS and I've rarely got an achievement when I didn't expect it. In short, what's the point of secret achievements if we just come to a site like this? There would be FAR less visitors to this site (and the others like it) if they refuse to list what the secret achievements where and just said "too bad"...

Well, the list looks OKAY, you can't expect much from a JRPG as they are super linear. I don't mind maxing all skills or levels, I'd do that anyways, have with all the JRPG titles so far :-). I'm doing Lost Odyssey now and hope to get all the items... I like the Blue D

... I like the Blue Dragon achievement for getting one of each item in your record, much better than getting EVERY item like in Lost Odyssey.

Is it just me, or do most RPGs have the stupidest Achievements and Achievement descriptions? Look at Tales of Vesperia as well.

Visually, the trailer look beautiful...but these JRPGs story lines tend to be pretty hokey. I've never been a fan of the FF series, for me they were all the same story, just different names.

I dug the story in Mass Effect because you can see its leading into a grand epic tale.

Oh well, definitely a rental until I read otherwise.

This says gather as much Fol as possible. I wonder if it crosses Star Ocean since Star Ocean uses Fol as well.

#24, a lot of reasons why they're secret is to avoid storyline spoilers, especially in a game like this "Achievement 34: Kill Burt (who is actually an companion of yours at the beginning of the game but actually turns out to be the main villian, hence we make this achievement open viewing and spoiling the game)"

It has no relevance to sites like this, it's too do with people opening up an achievement list (that don't go for acheivement points like we do) when they get one and having a glance, it spoils. People who come here and go through lists and complain they've seen spoilers will then complain at the opposite, so shut up ;)

Envy Sessha why would you post that? Thanks for ruining the game.

Achievement list looks pretty standard except for the 1 pointer. Being that the one above it is 49 (and likely for beating the game), the extra 1 is probably some kind of minor endgame task (i.e. beating the boss without dying or something equally trivial).

Anyways for the posters up top who don't know anything about the game...

A) It is a Tri-ace RPG (the guys who made Star Ocean, Valkyrie Profile, etc.) - Square Enix is publishing the game, they did NOT develop it. Combat is loosely based on the Star Ocean: TTEOT engine.

B) Battles are real-time (no random encounters) and can happen even when you're on the menu screen.

C) 18 party members available, you play with 4. You only control Capell, your others are AI-controlled.

D) In addition to the above-mentioned escort miss

...missions (ugh), there are even more stealth missions (UGH). Time of day will factor heavily into the stealth missions with the game supposedly switching between night and day every 10-15 minutes.

these are very similar to the blue dragon achievements, although at first glance they look shorter if nothing elsee you only control 1 characther so less boosting levels(actually doesnt matter they all went up the same time lol)

then again in blue dragon im almost sur you could complete the game and get 0 gamescore(hard but possible), i like to think atleast some of those secret achievements are story based. lets hope this is better then radiata stories(which was ok but nothing compared to so3) because that was to loosely based on SO battle system.

i like the idea of mandatory story based achievements then the known hard challenges. ie lost odsesy( i can't spell)
