Welcome to the month of September. Summers been and gone, school and university start back up for people, and teachers have to start doing some work for once. September normally isn't the best month for most people, but for one member thats all about to change!! Our Member of the Month this month is someone that is always seen around on the forums, answering questions and pointing people in the right direction. Not only that, but he is also a member of the Review Team, helping the site in its journey up to the top of the pile. So, let’s get on with it and introduce you to....

Lets start by finding out a bit more about the man behind the GamerTag. Well, my name is Tim and I’m 24. Been gaming since I was 4 years old playing on my uncle’s Atari. Ever since I got my 360 I’ve been hell bent on getting every achievement I can. |
| |
What is your gaming setup like? I have a 55” SD Projection Screen TV in the Living room where I do most of my gaming. I also have a 26” HDTV in the bedroom, but I rarely play in there. I have a core system still, so I don’t get the full HD experience out of it…but that’s going to change once I upgrade to an Elite in the near future. |
| |
What is your favorite game on the 360? My favorite game would have to be Hitman. That game was extremely well thought out, and the graphics are amazing. For being one of the first true action titles on the 360, it is still in my eyes one of the best. |
| |
And the game that makes you scream? Call of Duty 3. I have always been a fan of the Call of Duty games, Big Red One was my favorite, but when I bought this I almost broke the disc. The game play is absolutely dreadful. How they were able to botch a great series and let a different company screw up the series I will never know. |
| |
What achievement are you most proud of? All of my Call of Duty 2 achievements. The campaign on Veteran difficulty was hell on earth. When I was finally able to complete each chapter on Veteran, I had this feel of real gaming accomplishment. |
| |
Which achievement is the next on the hit list for you? This one might not be the one most would expect, but Marauder in Centipede/Millipede. I have hit 104,000 points playing that and scored more than 90,000 on a few occasions. I am dead set on getting that achievement, even if I have to play until my fingers bleed. |
| |
What was the last thing you downloaded from the Arcade? Spyglass Board Games. I love playing chess, and wanted to play something I could enjoy as well as get achievement points in. |
| |
Do you get games mainly for achievements, or for gameplay? I buy games to play and rent for achievements. I don’t see the purpose in spending $60 for 1000 achievement points just to take it back to the store and get less than half my money back. |
| |
Is the 360 your only console currently? Do you have plans for any more? I also have a GameCube. I love Resident Evil, and the GC has all but a few of the titles on it. So when I get the urge to jack up some zombies, I turn it on. As for anymore consoles, I am contemplating getting a Wii. I have played a few games on it, and I really enjoyed it, so maybe in the near future when I get an Elite, I’ll get one of those too. |
| |
Whats the next game that you will be getting? Halo 3. After that though I’m getting Army of Two and Assassin’s Creed. With all the games getting ready to drop, I had to limit myself, and those three stand out the most to me. |
